Trauma is done to you. It is not your fault.
But what happens next is.
You — and only you — start telling yourself a story about what happened.
An interpretation that, in most cases, becomes more harmful than the event itself.
You begin to treat yourself the way you were treated.
You become disrespectful to yourself — just like the person who hurt you.
And then it continues.
You let people into your life who treat you the same way.
And somehow… you can’t get enough of it.
Slowly, the real you disappears.
What’s left is smaller. Sadder. A version of you built from moments that were never meant to define you.
Because that’s what they were.
Moments.
But you turned them into an identity.
And forgot who you really are.
The real paradox is this:
You can only change once you have accepted that.
I help you break that pattern — and help you find yourself again.
The version of you that stops living in anger.
The version of you that allows someone to truly care for you —
because you let them, not because you try to force them to love you the way you think you need.
A relationship where your partner is a partner —
not someone who has to make up for someone else’s mistakes.
Become who you were always meant to be — beyond the trauma.
Be authentically you.
And stop caring about what anybody thinks of you.
And most importantly — no more self-victimisation.
No more doubt.
No more shrinking.
Stand in your own power.

"The curious paradox is that when I accept
myself just as I am, then I can change."

I am you — but I’ve learned to fully accept myself and stop giving a fuck what others think of me.
Heal Your Business
You’re probably thinking, “What is this guy talking about?”
I’m talking about trauma at work.
Not the trauma you create, but the trauma your employees drag into your company — hidden patterns, unhealed wounds, and toxicity that silently affect your people, your culture, and your bottom line.
Why it matters
If you’re a leader or HR professional who believes people can leave their wounds at home and not affect your work, your company, or infect colleagues with their toxicity… think again.
This is a problem costing companies billions worldwide.
Productivity, retention, communication, and absenteeism are just a few of the risks.
Most people don’t even know they carry trauma, yet the way they speak, behave, and interact — in life, in dating, and at work — proves it every day.
The real problem
Most businesses attack surface-level issues, not the core.
The real problem? Your employees… or most likely, you as a leader — leading from ego, fear, or patterns you don’t even see.
I’ve seen it in multi-billion-dollar companies: one toxic employee can rot a whole team of 200.
Where I come in
I help you fix the core, not just the symptoms.

TESTIMONIALS
STRAIGHT FROM THE FEED
When you’ve already worked with different coaches, it can feel quite different and new at first to engage with Alek’s approach.
The path we took during the coaching was defined by deep empathy and complete honesty.
Yves helps you develop this honesty with yourself through very clear and direct questions, while guiding you in a structured and sensitive way.
Through various workshops and one-on-one coaching sessions, we also worked with Yves in a business context, offering leaders the opportunity for personal development.
I can absolutely recommend working with Yves in both areas.
MICHAEL SCHLUTT, H&M HR DIRECTOR 20.07.2024
One thing is certain: Yves is different from all the other coaches I’ve ever worked with. Above all, because what he shares doesn’t come from a textbook, but from his own experiences and the work he has done on himself.
He has an incredibly strong sense for the person in front of him, asks the right questions, and offers valuable perspectives. His open and direct style might feel like a challenge at first for some people, but for me, it showed from the very first minute that there are no taboos in this space — and that’s exactly how it should be when working on and with yourself.
A clear recommendation for anyone who truly wants to face themselves and isn’t afraid of uncomfortable truths.
SANDRA MELITTA, 12.03.2023
“Yves doesn’t just talk or listen. He draws from immense life experience and applies it to you. Honest, empathetic, and direct — he challenged me without me even noticing, and gave me structures that prepare me for anything. Years of therapy were mild preparation for what I achieved with him.”

… I’ve been there, done that, and can guide you through it.
I know it’s a lot, but I’m 53, I’ve lived a crazy, full life, and I know a thing or two.
I refuse to be defined by search engine optimisation rules that say “one service per site.” You don’t need to trust me blindly — you already know I can help.
And if you’re still unsure, book a Free Discovery Call with me — and you’ll know for sure.
Who it’s for
For those who understand this: no matter what has happened to you, you have a choice. You can stay in the victim role, keep telling yourself the story of what happened, and share that story with the world — or you can let go, forgive, and start treating yourself with respect by taking full responsibility for your life now.
I know it sounds harsh, but it’s the only way.
How I work (and with whom)
-
Calm, grounded, and direct
-
Solution-driven, with space to explore what’s really there
-
For people who value:
-
Clarity over drama
-
Stability over intensity
-
Honest conversations over quick fixes
-
Reality over the story we tell ourselves
-
About me
53, shaped by childhood adversity; now focused on clarity, stability, and transformation.
Competitive sports background; certified trainer (London, 1994).
I built million‑euro businesses across Cologne, London, and Paris. Then I lost my granny, the woman that raised me, and all my childhood trauma hit me at once. I lost my resilience. I spiraled into bankruptcy, addiction, and homelessness, doing things I never thought I could.
Seven brutal years later, I confronted my past, stopped being a victim I was so well trained to be, and became a Certified Mental Health Coach & Trauma Counsellor.
Author of The Loss of Self; founder of Yves.coach — guiding people with experience, empathy, and insight.
Dog lover — because life’s simplest joys are often the most important.
